A Trusted Relationship Over Time

Placework has worked with the University of New Hampshire for almost 15 years, under three successive term contracts. Our team has renovation, addition, and adaptive reuse projects across campus. The buildings we’ve worked in are highlighted in gold on the map below.  We have designed academic, housing, administration, student life, and housing.  Projects have ranged from historic preservation to creating original murals based on the research photos of the College of Life Sciences.

The majority of these projects have required balancing the needs of diverse user groups (student organizations, academic departments, research facilities, administrative entities, housing) with strict project budgets, all within the tension of the fast-paced timelines driven by the academic calendar. We have developed strong relationships with the Facilities Project Management team who trust our technical expertise and value our ability to navigate competing demands.
